As I was going through and filling out this checklist, I noticed a few barriers my lesson had that made similar connections. Unfortunately, I noticed that my lesson lacked accommodations for student whom may have learning disabilities. I feel that this is important aspect of all lessons and I should pay attention to this in the future. Although I do not address accommodations that can be made, my lesson does have students working with a partner and using the computer to make a video. Both of these activities would still aid students with learning disabilities however, it is important to make sure students have the proper accomodations. In the future I would also like to give students and opportunity to be able to self-assess themselves and reflect on their work. I believe that this will also aid to help all students recognize the value of their learning and consider the importance of self-improvement.
